This has nothin to do with Nelly, although, the lyrics are apt to describe the upcoming season for one Tony Romo.

The rumors have been flowing that Romo was gettin tired of the T.O.-influenced distractions. Now, T.O. is in up-state NY, so that removes Romo’s biggest problem.

Romo better come out smokin next season. What excuse will he have to fall back on, that Wade was too much of a player’s coach? That Yoko Romo’s fluctuating weight gain messed him up on the field? That T.O. being in Buffalo in a completely different conference and division was too much for him to have to deal with in Dallas?

Honestly, Tony it’s put up or shut up. If the Cowboys playoff futility continues another season, the blame should rest solely on the shoulders of Romo. Not Phillips. Not Jones…well..maybe. Not Simpson. Not Witten. Not Garrett.

NFL Fanhouse got it perfectly, Tony Romo meet the NFL’s 2009 hot seat.

It just feels so good

The Jayhawks have claimed another regular season Big XII title, via an assist from Texas A&M.  That good readers is 5 in a row.  Maybe they should rename the title the Jayhawk trophy.
Texas is 0-9 at the Fieldhouse, but they usually play Kansas pretty tough and this game was no exception.

Kansas and Texas have had some memorable games in recent years, most of those tight, high-scoring shootouts with high stakes.

This one was no different.

Trading shots like it was a game of H-O-R-S-E, the Jayhawks and Longhorns combined to shoot 15-of-28 over the first 10 minutes, changing leads eight times.

Stank-0 is trying to rank the titles, and this one is up there because this was supposed to be a rebuilding year.  Even Stank-0 doubted the Hawks.  The best title has to be when KU went 16-0 in the Big XII.  That was a magical ride.

Now we want OU.  Bring on B Griff.  KU needs to face OU for the tournament title.  ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK KUUUU!

Where’s our cut?

Terrell Owens Mark J. Rebilas/US Presswire

As you can see this is about none other than Terrell Owens. The Buffalo Bills have signed T.O. Obviously, Rosenhaus wasn’t bullplayin about him having teams interested in him. What Drew doesn’t understand is that he was signed with bloggers’ help. On behalf of the bloggin community, The Stankoniforous Files team will accept on their behalf and disperse with discretion.

The Bills’ offense definitely needs the help.

The Bills were in need of a receiver to take the pressure off Lee Evans. They got one of the biggest names out there.

The question now is how T.O. will deal with Trent Edwards, who is entering only his second full year as starter. Owens has made life difficult for quarterbacks in the past and joins an offense that struggled mightily last year. The Bills were 25th in the NFL in yards gained and failed to have a 300-yard passing game. The offense has been a perennial problem. It has ranked 25th or lower in each of the past six seasons.

Can T.O. end the Bills playoff drought? Will Trent Edwards step his game up?

There were obvious ulterior motives for the Bills signin T.O. It has been an open secret that the Bills are strugglin financially. They were in enough of a financial bind that a move to Canada has been seriously considered. The drama and excitement that T.O. will bring to Buffalo may stave off that move to Canada. Good move.
