Yeah that was complicated wasn’t it? I’ll break it down proper for you.

The first trade was between the Hornets and the Thunder. The big name in the deal was Tyson Chandler for basically some expiring contracts masquerading as players. It was supposedly a done deal when the two teams played a game on the day the trade was mentioned. Then it fell apart because Chandler did not pass his physical. He should be thankful. He can continue to catch lobs from CP3. Some advice Tyson. Look you are probably upset and you should be, but use that as motivation. Now go and catch some Sportscenter lobs for ya boy!

The second trade was between the Bulls and the Kings.

The Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings reached tentative agreement on Wednesday to trade Andres Nocioni, Drew Gooden, Michael Ruffin and Cedric Simmons to the Kings for Brad Miller and John Salmons.

The Kings then turned around and shipped Ruffin to the Portland Trail Blazers for forward Ike Diogu and cash considerations. The Kings waived guard Quincy Douby and veteran Sam Cassell, acquired on Tuesday from Boston, to make room for their new players.

Then in a seperate move, Ruffin was sent to Portland for Ike Diogu. This is good it clears some of the logjam in the Bulls organization. It also has the feel of blowing up the Bulls and starting over. It also hasn’t cleared the logjam at the guard position.
